New Editor For The Music Perth

Musician-turned-journalist Daniel Cribb has taken over as editor of weekly West Australian publication The Music Perth (published by Street Press Australia, owners of theMusic website).

Cribb, who was initially a contributor with the SpaceshipNew site, began writing and reviewing for The Music's predecessor The Drum Media Perth in 2011.

Cribb is also singer and bass player with The Decline who toured Europe, Japan and Australia earlier this year (in 2009 they recorded their debut album in the States with Descenedents' Bill Stevenson). He most recently toured Australia as bassist in David Liebe Hart Band.

Cribb replaces Callum Twigger who has left The Music to further pursue his studies.
