Ten people have been charged after a New South Wales police launched a drug raid and two dance parties on boats in Sydney Harbour.

According to the Marine Area Command, 41 people were searched during the targeted operation at Casino Wharf and King Street Wharf, with 15 offences levelled at the ten individuals. The raids took place between 11am and 2pm on Saturday.

One male allegedly had 53 ecstasy tablets on him and was charged with supplying a prohibited drug.

The Command's Superintendent Mark Hutchings said, “These types of intelligence-based operations will continue and we want to remind the public that law enforcement does not stop at the water's edge, you are still responsible for your behaviour on the waterways.
