WA music's night of nights has come and gone with the world beating Tame Impala cleaning up.
Perth psych-rockers Tame Impala were the big winners at tonight's WAM Awards, going home with four gongs, including Group, Single, Album and Music Video Of The Year.
The awards, which took place at Perth's Astor Theatre, celebrated what has been a very strong year in Western Australian music, with other awards going to the likes of The Love Junkies, Abbe May, Karnivool and Mama Kin.
Members of the public were able to join in on the fun this year and all in attendance were treated to performances from Jordi Davieson (San Cisco), The Love Junkies, Mama Kin, Mathas with Abbe May, Diger Rokwell and Empty & Archi as well as an all WA set from Death Disco DJs.
