An Evening With Yo La Tengo along the east coast.

More Yo La Tengo More Yo La Tengo

One of the truly great and certainly most enduring indie rock bands of our time, Yo La Tengo, are once again making their way to Australian shores, this time they've confirmed they will be embarking on a more substantial run of shows that their visit just a few weeks ago.

The band initially formed back in the mid-80s but have retained the same line up for 21 years now, no mean feat in itself, and have released so much good music in that time it's a bit ridiculous. Whether you're into the brilliant 1993 LP Painful or the just as killer Fade, released 20 years later, the band always give their fans their money's worth when it comes to performing live, so any chance to see them ought to be cherished.

The tour they bring to Australia in March 2014 is their two set opus An Evening With Yo La Tengo, which sees them play two sets stretching right across their 13 albums as well as a whole heap of their famous cover tunes. It recently played at the Melbourne Festival and it was a real hoot.
