triple j comp winners sign booking deal

Winners of the recent triple j Unearthed High competition, Lunatics On Pogosticks, have signed to the New World Artists agency.

The company will now manage the garage rock trio's live show bookings, finding them shows and tours to play moving forward. The deal gives NWA exclusive representation for all live performances.

The band – from Newtown High in Sydney's inner-west – won the triple j competition from approximately 900 entries from around the country. They join NWA's roster of acts, which also includes Grinspoon, Northlane, Illy, Willow Beats and Closure In Moscow.

A statement from NWA to theMusic today read, “The entire team at New World Artists are keen to work with this exciting young band full of promise and possibilities.”
