Heroes For Hire aren't splitting up

More Heroes For Hire More Heroes For Hire

Sydney pop punk outfit Heroes For Hire are not breaking up today, despite announcing as much yesterday.

The band, who are signed to Shock imprint Halfcut, have released three albums, toured extensively and performed on the Soundwave festival, were yesterday listed as the main support for Californian band Forever Came Calling's upcoming tour. The Facebook event said it would be Heroes' “Last Ever Tour” and included a statement from the band outlining their split.

Today they have been removed from the event and do not appear on the official release circulated to media.

The band's management told theMusic.com.au today that at this stage that band are not breaking up, and they are not on the tour.

In March this year the band dumped frontman and founding member Brad Smith, becoming a four-piece in the process.

The third band on yesterday's line-up, Perth's Monuments, are still on the bill. The dates for Forever Came Calling are available at theGuide.
