The reformed legends embark on first Aussie tour in over 15 years.
The news of Hunters & Collectors getting back together is still kind of unbelievable to some of their biggest fans. This is a band who split back in 1998 and who many thought would never reconvene.
But they are together again and, after playing this Saturday's AFL Grand Final and amongst the excitement of supporting Bruce Springsteen in their hometown of Melbourne next year, the band will embark on a full tour of Australia, predominantly playing wineries as a part of the A Day On The Green tour cycle, with a couple of theatre dates thrown in for good measure.
They won't travel alone, as some seriously great Aussie rock acts will be supporting them along the way; You Am I will be main support for most shows, Something For Kate and British India – both of whom play a part in the Crucible tribute album released tomorrow – will be there for most shows as well, while Diesel pops in for a couple and The Panics will support at the band's two theatre shows next April.
