Sep 25th 2013 | 12:37pm | Staff Writer
The big names just keep on coming for the inaugural Boomerang Festival and the latest addition, the mighty Xavier Rudd, ought to have plenty of Australian music fans having a serious think about spending next weekend in glorious Tyagarah on the New South Wales Far North Coast.

As well as the acclaimed roots singer-songwriter, the festival has added a couple of other exciting names, with North East Arnhem Land Yolngu elder Dr Dijiniyini Gondarra OAM – often referred to as the Desmond Tutu of Australia – and acclaimed journalist Jeff McMullen joining the bill, both of whom will discuss the issues of racism and oppression against Aboriginal people.
