The big names just keep on coming for the inaugural Boomerang Festival and the latest addition, the mighty Xavier Rudd, ought to have plenty of Australian music fans having a serious think about spending next weekend in glorious Tyagarah on the New South Wales Far North Coast.

As well as the acclaimed roots singer-songwriter, the festival has added a couple of other exciting names, with North East Arnhem Land Yolngu elder Dr Dijiniyini Gondarra OAM – often referred to as the Desmond Tutu of Australia – and acclaimed journalist Jeff McMullen joining the bill, both of whom will discuss the issues of racism and oppression against Aboriginal people.
