Elizabeth Rose Wins $10,000 Prize In Youth Awards

Indie electro songstress Elizabeth Rose has been announced as the winner of the Music category in the 2013 Spirit of Youth Awards.

The QANTAS sponsored event recognises outstanding, emerging Aussie talent across a range of creative fields. Along with the winner's title, Rose will also walk-away with $5,000 in cash, $5,000 in QANTAS flights and a year-long mentorship opportunity with local music producer Lee Groves, who selected the Sydney artist as the winner.

Rose said the achievement will be a great help to furthering her career devlelopment.

“Winning this award will help me finance my first overseas trip to New York where I am performing at the CMJ Music Marathon next month, as well as collaborate with inspiring international artists."
