Music, Sport, Porn & Beer: Which Will You Support?

Well, you don't have to choose if you don't want to.

Three more exciting projects need a hand to get off the ground this week, you can help a unique film, a well-renowned singer-songwriter and an exciting young rapper make some giant steps if you're feeling generous.

Alternatively, you can choose where people have sex with each other, on camera, for money.

Name: Shane Boyle
Project: Football.Music.Culture: a doco
Current Status:  95% ($11,431) of $12,500 goal

Whether you like it or not, footy fans and music fans have a lot in common. Hell, music and sport have a lot in common. This new film is looking to show just how similar football (the round ball type) and music have in common and why their fans are the way they are.

Perks wise, they're mainly football related; $250 will get you a video call live from a top-flight European football match, you can become a Go-Pro operator at an A-League game for $500, or for $4,000 you can get a “unique culinary experience” at one of your city's iconic restaurants, four tickets to a football game and then head out for some live music after the match is through.

The money will be put towards the film crew and editing after the filming is done.

Name: Simone Felice
Project: New album
Current Status: Unknown

Simone Felice is a former member of The Felice Brothers and is now a solo artist and novelist and he needs your money to release his new record.

It's very much a pre-order system, with signed vinyl and CDs, downloads and t-shirts available. He is also selling some pretty sweet guitars, a 1981 Fender Telecaster and a Gretsch White Falcon, though has already sold his 1966 Martin D-18 and if you throw in two grand he'll come and play at your house when he's next in town.

Name: L-Fresh The Lion
Project: Take his band on tour
Current Status: Launching tomorrow.

I have a bit of a soft spot for L-Fresh The Lion, I remember seeing him spit some impromptu rhymes in the beergarden of  Brisbane pub before he and his mates from Matt Noffs' Street University were to hit the Sounds of Spring festival the next day and being completely blown away.

Of course, he's come a long way since then and is kicking some serious goals, so it's exciting to hear that he is looking to embark on a tour with his full band this November. He's reaching out to the Australian music community to help him make it a reality. You can hang out with the band before the show for $250, get a full length rehearsal tape The LION Speak Unplugged for $25 or just chip in ten bucks and get thanks on their Facebook page.

Also in crowdfunding this week:

Aussie company Pozible are making a big move into the US market. The news comes shortly after it was announced that Kickstarter would be hitting Australia soon and sees co-founder Alan Crbbe relocating to San Francisco to open up an office over there.

The first ever crowdfunded porno is set to be made soon, with adult entertainment company Shane's World telling The Huffington Post that they will allow contributors to choose who will star, where they will go and what they will do to themselves and each other. Some people will even get to go along and watch. Fucking hell, people are weird. Having said that, so far only six people have donated and they've only raised $310 all up.

If you're more into beer than porn, then check out CrowdBrewed. Yep, it's a crowdfunding site for craft beer manufacturers; why not?
