They've been at it since the late 1980s, with founding members Mikael Stanne and Niklas Sundin driving the band since their formation. They've released ten albums, most recently dropping Construct back in May, and influenced an enormous number of heavy bands from all over the world, but most tellingly plenty of bands from their own fruitful scene.
After an absence of eight years, the band are returning to Australia for some massive shows in March of next year. All the dates and support details are below; you can get yourself a ticket right now through Metal Massacre, or from outlets as of Monday 8 October.
This week's new sets include music from locals Gurrumul, Josh Pyke and West Thebarton Brothel Party plus new tunes from The Maccabees and Albert Hammond Jr.
