An eclectic mix of artists are up for the honour
The shortlist for the 2013 Mercury Prize has been revealed overnight, with the likes of legendary musician David Bowie, dance game-changers Disclosure, indie rockers Arctic Monkeys and electro producer, singer-songwriter James Blake all up for Album Of The Year.

There's a definite dance/electro vibe to this year's nominations with names like Rudimental, Jon Hopkins and the Lawrence brothers from Disclosure. In somewhat of a surprise, the Arctic Monkeys' album was only officially released last week. What do you make of the list?
