Tex Perkins' The Ape Announce Album And Tour Dates

The Ape announce self titled debut album and east coast tour for october.

So look, if you aren't familiar with this band The Ape yet, you really need to be. Here's a brief introduction: on guitar is the legendary riff master Raul Sanchez (Magic Dirt), boy wonder Gus Agars (The Dark Horses) on drums and vocals, Pat Bourke mastering both keys and bass, and an up-and-coming artist by the name of Tex Perkins on vocals and guitar. Not a bad little lineup.

The guys recently release their first single Crawl Back, and are now set to release their debut, self-titled album on Friday 4 October. To make the announcement even juicier, The Ape will be heading out on a promotional east coast tour of the country, kicking it all off at The Coolangatta Hotel on Friday 4 October.
