Haunting The Tiger & Me Track Features In 'The Turning' Trailer

A 2012 track from Melbourne band The Tiger & Me is now featuring in the new trailer for the new Aussie film The Turning.

Their haunting number Other Friends Have Flown Before can be heard in the promo for the movie, which is based on author Tim Winton's The Turning, a collection of short stories. Check out the trailer below - this film stars a host of big name Aussies like Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving, Richard Roxburgh and Rose Byrne so this is a pretty big deal for the Melburnians.

The track is off the second album from indie folkers, The Drifter's Dawn, which was released last October. The Turning is in cinemas locally from Thursday 26 September.
