One solo show while he's in Australia for BIGSOUND.

More Billy Bragg More Billy Bragg

We shouldn't have to introduce you to Billy Bragg, singer-songwriters in the modern day don't come much more influential than him. Over the past three decades he has brought us incredible music as a true folk-punk troubadour and Australian audiences have loved him greatly for much of his career – he even credited Australia as the reason he could afford his recent American tour in support of last year's Tooth & Nail record.

He's back in our country to give a keynote address at BIGSOUND this September, but has this morning announced he'll also play a show at the Factory Theatre in Sydney on Friday 13 September while he's here.

This promises to be a very special and very rare chance to see this great artist in such an intimate environment and given he never really lets us down with his live shows, an amazing night is all but assured.

Patrick James has scored the support slot and tickets are available through Ticketek from 11am on Monday 26 August. Make sure you're ready to snap them up!
