More Northlane More Northlane

Sydney post-hardcore's favourite sons Northlane have named the plethora of local bands which will be supporting them around the country on their September tour.

Ranging from the likes of Hearts Like Wolves, Elegist and Hold Your Own in New South Wales, Exposures, Bury The Fallen and Cardinals in Victoria and Aversions Crown in Queensland, the band have dug into the respective local scenes to give a platform to some of the rising stars.

For one date, at Western Sydney's Blacktown Masonic Hall, the band ran a competition to select a local band, with Arteries selected to join the line-up.

Northlane guitarist Josh Smith recently told us, “It's often hard to find opportunities when you're first starting out as a band, we wanted to lend a hand to a deserving band from our part of Sydney and give them a support slot not because of who they know or who likes them but because of how hard they've been working and where they want to take their music career.”

One band that'll be present at all tour's dates is Perth's Saviour, who are blowing up something chronic on YouTube. 80,000 views in a month can't be that wrong:
