Pink and Passenger the form runners
Sydney hip hop duo Horrorshow are firming as the probable top local debut on the ARIA Album Charts this week, with their third album King Amongst Many tracking well according to midweek figures.
The top spot will likely be fought out between current number one Pink's The Truth About Love, which is enjoying a boost thanks to her current arena tour (her Melbourne pop-up merch store is kicking off again next week) and Passenger's The Truth About, which is back up to its peak of two thanks to a new single. Horrowshow won't be out of sight, though, and will easily score their highest chart position to date. American rock band Five Finger Death Punch's The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 1 is the local act's biggest threat to the 'top new entry' crown.
Further down, midweek figures have been solid for Melbourne's Snakadaktal and their debut album Sleep In The Water and Perth's Pond and their fifth album Hobo Rocket. Both should crack the top 50 for the first time this week.
Elsewhere there's albums from Jasmine Rae, The Civil Wars, Jay Sean, Newsted, Chimaira and the Backstreet Boys, which are nipping at the top 50's heels.

The battle between Avicii's Wake Me Up and Lorde's The Love Club EP will rage on for another week in the ARIA Singles Chart after the New Zealand youngster's EP closed the gap on the Swedish producer's single last week. Midweek figures are showing that OneRepublic's Counting Stars and Karmin's Acapella are also in the fold, after sitting at three and four respectively last week.
In the belly of the charts, expect jumps from Jessica Mauboy's To The End Of The Earth, MTKO's Classic, Passenger's Holes and Awolnation's Sail, which has been a steady climber and cracked the top 50 last week.
