Gruen Nation & The Chaser's Hamster Decides Return In Lead Up To Election

ABC TV has this afternoon confirmed the return of the popular Gruen Nation and The Hamster Decides programs as the country prepares to go to the polls again this September.

Four 45 minute episodes of Gruen Nation will screen weekly on ABC1 from Wednesday 14 August (8.30pm), featuring host Wil Anderson, regulars Todd Sampson and Russel Howcroft as well as guests such as Dr John Hewson, Annabel Crabb and a whole stack more.

The Chaser bring their Hamster Wheel back for The Hamster Decides, which will screen for five weeks on ABC1 from Wednesday 14 August as well, this one screening at 9.15pm.

Though The Chaser's Chris Taylor doesn't seem to think too many people will be watching on their TV sets at the scheduled time, describing the show as “an exciting new iview program, which can also be watched on older content platforms, such as ABC1 television or on LaserDisc”.

ABC TV also confirmed that Gruen Planet will return for its third season after the Gruen Nation series has finished.
