Splendour band have sent the final copy back home
Californian Splendour outfit Haim have completed their forthcoming debut album at Sydney's 301 Studios after arriving in Australia for this weekend's festival.
Talking to theMusic.com.au, a representative from the studio said the band arrived late last week, but with the record due to be finalised by Monday just past, they went straight into the studio. Working with in-house producer Simon Cohen, the band listened over the various version of the record over the course of the weekend and decided on a final version prior to the Monday deadline.
Speaking on stage at Sydney's The Hi-Fi last night, the band said that Sydney “is now a part of Haim history”.
In the past the studio has played host to Kanye West, Muse, Bruce Springsteen, Rihanna, The Jezabels, The Living End, The Rubens and Lady Gaga.
