Brisbane indie pop sensations Ball Park Music and much loved Melbourne-based hip hop dude Seth Sentry are also on the bill, with Adelaide comedy rockers The Beards not far behind.
Rounding out the list of artists travelling for the event is Sydney party lovers Sticky Fingers, dirty rockers Kingswood and the glorious folky ensemble that is Battleships, while Sydney electro hip hop dudes Jackie Onassis will make the trip up for a DJ set.
The full bill is as follows:
Grinspoon, Ball Park Music, Seth Sentry, The Beards, Sticky Fingers, Kingswood, Battleships, Jackie Onassis (DJ set), Alys Longmate, DrawCard, Tea Society, Brett Orr, Hope Springs, The Buzzbees, Sahara Beck
As mentioned, the first day of the event, which features the above acts, will be an 18+ affair this year, with organiser Mark Pico saying the move will allow for a little more freedom for those both on and off the stage.
"The decision to go 18 plus gives us more freedom in the style of bands we can choose from and less grey hairs stressing about some bands potentially dropping the F bomb on unsuspecting families.," he saiid.
The event takes place at the Coolum Sports Complex on Saturday 9 November.
The first round of tickets are available through the festival's website from next Monday 29 July for the special earlybird price of $62.50 + bf.
Veterans lead this week's releases with new albums from Tim Rogers & The Bamboos (Album Of The Week) and Daniel Johns plus albums from Ella Thompson, The Vaccines and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
