Who have the band upset now?

More Kings Of Leon More Kings Of Leon

A new Kings Of Leon track from their forthcoming LP Mechanical Bull has been released today, with Supersoaker showing the band are back at their jangly, catchy best with the unmistakable gruff vocal of Caleb Followill packing plenty of punch up the front.

But not everyone is so thrilled about the song's release. Nathan Williams of Wavves, who are in Australian really, really soon, doesn't seem too happy that the band's song shares a title with one of his own.

He then tries to reach the band, but figures it's futile.

"Hey @KingsOfLeon you'll never read this bc u pay someone to maintain yr twitter but i just wanted to say u suck," he tweeted.

After a fan challenges Williams, saying he had previously spoken out against making fun of bands, he says Kings Of Leon had “blatently ripped [him] off”.

Wavves plays Splendour In The Grass and a few sideshows with Unknown Mortal Orchestra over the next couple of weeks. Kings Of Leon's new LP is out in September.
