James Morrison to host once again

The third annual Art Music Awards have been confirmed today, with the contemporary classical, jazz and experimental scene awards taking place in Sydney this August.

Presented by APRA and the Australian Music Centre [AMC], the event will be hosted once again by veteran jazz musician James Morrison and will consist of 12 national and state/territory awards.

“There is much to celebrate across these areas of Australian music making, exceptional achievements by outstanding artists, presenters, and educators, often in challenging circumstances,” John Davis, AMC's CEO, said. “We have much to be proud of.”

With Morrison returning as host, Genevieve Lacey will curate the live performances for the awards night.
