Have a listen to two different versions of the Jack Middle of the Broken Heart

Melbourne's band of many faces The Tiger & Me have just announced the release of new single, Jack Middle of the Broken Heart, and to celebrate, have also dropped a number of tour dates to celebrate the newbie.

Their sound that merges sounds of cabaret, folk and indie-pop can be heard on their late-2012 record The Drifter's Dawn, to which their new release springs from – mixing the sweet vocals of frontman Ade Vincent and the body-moving bass lines and indie rock musicianship of the sextet.

Have a peek at what we thought of their 2012 record, and have a listen to Jack Middle of the Broken Heart below, as well as a smokier version of the single recorded before their full-length, giving the tune a bit more character.

The Tiger & Me will also be hitting the road to welcome the release, moving down the south east coast later this month and early next. Their full tour schedule is listed below.
