Sydney artist to showcase new material soon
Sydney-based rapper Chance Waters will release his next album through Island Records, an imprint of the Universal Music Group, with the first taste of new material expected to surface in the coming weeks.
The news will likely be formally announced tomorrow morning.
Waters has described the signing as a “career defining moment for me, [Island are] an amazing team who understand my sound and creative direction and the best home I could hope to have found for my music.”
Today Island's Australian Head Michael Taylor described Waters as “a gentle soul who's also a hard-core troubadour.” He added, “Chance has a special gift of being able to convey an affecting message through his melodies.”
