Hip hop legend and mogul Jay-Z will drop album number twelve this July.

According to USA Today, the multi-facted superstar has teamed up with mobile giant Samsung for the release of Magna Carta Holy Grail. On Monday 24 June, Samsung Galaxy Smartphone users will be allowed to download an app that will give the first one million users the chance to unlock the LP for free at exactly 12:01am on Thursday 4 July.

While this news has been made overseas, a cryptic announcement from a local Universal rep has indicated that Aussie fans will be involved in this unique release concept too.

Here's a three minute vid that takes a little look into Magna Carta Holy Grail and Mr Carter's partnership with Samsung. Looks like he's enlisted the help of pals and hit-makers Pharrell, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz.
