Gudinski, Gotye, Bert Newton To Appear At APRA Awards

British India, Architecture In Helsinki, Abbe Mae and more to perform

The 2013 APRA Awards have announced its presenters and performers for the night, with musicians and identities as diverse as Wally de Backer and Bert Newton set to grace the stage.

Taking place Monday 17 June at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the annual peer-focused awards will be hosted by the previously announced Jonathan Biggins and Clare Bowditch.

Performers on the night include British India, Architecture In Helsinki, Abbe Mae (featuring Sam Ford and Kram), Ball Park Music, Georgi Kay (featuring Robert Conley) and Lior (featuring Gian Slater).

Identities presenting awards or stepping up as guest presenters include Michael Gudinski, Bert Newton, Hilltop Hoods' Suffa and Debris and Jessica Mauboy.

The Awards will be held in Melbourne for the first time since 2009, with Tame Impala landing two cracks at the top prize. The full list of nominees is here.

Legendary Aussie outfit The Seekers will be honoured with the Ted Albert Award on the night.
