Local promoter claims management pulled the plug
The rescheduled tour from Madchester legends Happy Mondays has been cancelled after the band's management and local promoter KillRockStar Big Dog Entertainment failed to come to a "mutual agreeable solution".
The local promoter has released a statement claiming that the rescheduled tour, “has now been cancelled by the band's management citing medical issues with drummer Gary Whelan.”
They added, “While details remain hazy, a mutually agreeable solution could not be found to rescue the tour. Happy Mondays management officially cancelled the tour over the weekend.”
