Some classic old names have been added to the October event.

Another couple of acts have been drip fed to Australian blues lovers today as the Great Southern Blues Festival announces more acts for its Narooma event this October.

Fans of early Australian blues will be pretty excited to hear that the Cyril B Bunter Band will be joining the bill this year, following on from their reunion tour earlier this year that saw them play their first shows together in over 30 years.

Great boogie-woogie pianist Ezra Lee and his Band brings his world class brand of good time music that sees him backed up by Hank and Johnny Green, Grunter and Lachie Monaro. You might have seen them backing up Wanda Jackson on her tour early this year…

The final act added today is the brilliant Melbourne bluesman Chris Wilson, who will bring his original Crown Of Thorns line up to Narooma where they will play their first show in a quarter of a century!

It's going to be a mighty special time, these acts join:

Poppa Chubby with special guest Sari Schorr, The Holmes Brothers, Chris Cain, Watermelon Slim with Fiona Boyes, Ash Grunwald, Russell Morris, Renee Geyer, Third Degree, Cristina Crofts, Minnie Marks and The Detonators with plenty more still to be added.

The festival happens in Narooma from Friday 4 October through to Sunday 6. Early bird tickets finish this Friday, so grab one now to save yourself more than a few bucks.
