Band to release album in June

Underoath spin-off band The Almost have signed with Shock Records for the release of their new album Fear Inside Our Bones in Australia.

Initially the side-project of drummer and vocalist Aaron Gillespie, his emo-rock outlet grew into a full band late last decade. This album was written over a year and recorded live in Nashville and will be released Friday 14 June through Tooth & Nail/Shock.

“It wasn't a piecemeal process as the majority of modern records are,” he said. “It was amazing doing everything live. I'll do records like this for the rest of my life.”

The band have previously released two albums – both popular in the US Christian rock charts as well as the Billboard 200 – and have toured Australia with Soundwave, as well. Gillespie's 2010 defection from Underoath, a band he co-founded, was headline news for the scene at the time.

The signing is the first public news from Shock since they underwent a major restructure earlier this year.
