Franz Ferdinand Reveal New Album Details

It feels like forever since we heard new material from Franz Ferdinand - well, only four years, but that is a long time between drinks for the band, so we're chuffed to hear a new album will be released in 2013.

Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action will be available through Domino/EMI on Friday 23 August, their first LP since 2009's Tonight. This marks their first Aus EMI distribution after their previous albums were released through Sony.

Considering these guys have been one of the biggest rock bands since they burst onto the scene in 2004, this looks like one of the most anticpated records of the year.
