Five east coast stops and Adelaide
Dates for the upcoming Warped Tour have been revealed today by co-promoter AJ Maddah.
The prolific tweeter has revealed that there will be six stops for the event at the end of November/start of December, with the punk tour visiting Brisbane, Coffs Harbour, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide.
The festival was revealed to be returning to Australia during Maddah's Soundwave festival earlier this year, when ads for the event appeared on the event's screens. Warped's founder Kevin Lyman will be bringing the tour to Australia in consultation with Maddah.
Maddah has previously expressed the differences between Warped and Soundwave, saying, “Warped is about mayhem and DIY punk rock spirit. Soundwave is about delivering a slick and orchestrated day of performances.”

Maddah previously explained the absence of a Perth date, saying that the costs associated made it unviable.
In further comments today Maddah indicated that a lack of demand was the issue with a Perth leg, rather than any lack of Government support.
"Perth is killing promoters," he said, but also added that some of the bands will perform Perth sideshows.
With a line-up due by June, it will have more in common with Warped's UK dates, which happen in November, rather than the American. Rise Against, Billy Talent, Capture The Crown, Crossfaith, Itch, Real Friends and Yellowcard are booked to play the UK leg.
The dates are as follows:
Friday 29 November – Brisbane
Saturday 30 November – Coffs Harbour
Sunday 1 December – Sydney
Friday 6 December – Canberra
Saturday 7 December – Melbourne
Sunday 8 December – Adelaide
