EXCLUSIVE: Essential Ted Mulry & TMG Tracks To Be Reissued

Fans of Aussie rocker Ted Mulry will be pleased to hear his legacy is to be kept alive this week with the release of The Essential Ted Mulry & Ted Mulry Gang through Alberts licensed to Sony Music this Friday.

The 14-track release, the first time Alberts have licensed to the Essentials series,will feature a series of songs Mulry recorded between the years 1970 and 1990, both as a solo artist and with the Ted Mulry Gang.

Ted Mulry Gang drummer Herm Kovac expressed his excitement about the release to theMusic.com.au this afternoon.

“I'm always being asked about TMG and Ted solo stuff being available to buy and with the release of this CD it should please a lot of fans, old and new," he said. "I am especially pleased to see that my all time fave Ted solo song Marcia is on the CD. I used to look forward to playing this when I backed him as a solo artist. Also Here We Are is the transitional song from Ted solo to TMG band.

"I was there when he wrote the chorus and asked for my opinion. I was over the moon with what he played me so he finished it and that was the first song Ted Mulry Gang recorded."

The Essential Ted Mulry & Ted Mulry Gang is out this Friday, the tracklist for the release is as follows.
