The Rubens Sell Out Three Shows

Fresh from a month-long trip to Europe and the USA, playing debut headline shows and turning heads at Austen's SXSW festival, Menangle, NSW four-piece The Rubens have returned home to even more success, selling out three of their shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

But never fear, the boys have announced one more show for each of these venues, adding three more dates at the Forum Theatre, Enmore Theatre and The Tivoli to the already massive and now 21-show strong Never Be The Same Tour.

The New York Times had a few amazing things to say about The Rubens, describing their sound as containing: “Coldplay sensibility and Radiohead edginess”, continuing to say “I predict that The Rubens will not be a baby band for long”.

To celebrate the tour and their recent colossal success, Ivy League have also announced a soon-to-be-released limited edition deluxe album package of the band's self-titled record, the #3 ARIA Chart, #1 iTunes Chart and certified gold album to be released April 26.
