The New Order and Joy Division founder to play sweet DJ sets

More Peter Hook More Peter Hook

With their 2013 Australian tour quickly approaching, Happy Mondays have unleashed the names of the massive special guests joining them on the road, with New Order and Joy Division founding member Peter Hook and Melbourne's Underground Lovers playing alongside the Manchester band.

Earlier this year,  Happy Mondays dropped word of their full original lineup Aussie tour, now bragging new additions with Peter Hook to play a very special DJ set at every Australian show, while Melbourne fans will be given a treat with laundered Aussie indie rockers Underground Lovers playing one show for Victorian fans after their recent reformation.

Peter Hook was a pivotal figure in the Madchester movement, taking place in the infamous New Order born Hacienda club – now bringing the original spirit of the club to Australia for four big sets, and also armed with a bigger sense of celebration, Underground Lovers are back after a decade long hiatus, recently reforming and bringing their six studio albums to the Melbourne show.
