Aussie hip hop is doing very nicely indeed in Austin right now. 360 has announced he's kicking some serious goals, and just a couple of hours ago, Seth Sentry won a corporate sponsored rap battle that will see him exposed to a huge US audience in the coming weeks.

Sponsored by Doritos, the #BoldStage competition pitted three rappers up against each other with the winner to be voted by fans online. The prize was an opening slot at the ensuing event that featured hip hop legends LL Cool J, Public Enemy, Ice Cube and Doug E. Fresh and the support slot on LL Cool J's forthcoming Authentic tour. Sentry also announced he will appear on the Jimmy Kimmel Live program in the coming weeks.

Sentry beat out American rappers Devin Miles and Snow Tha Product to take out victory in the competition this afternoon. He was stoked.

This isn't Sentry's first big win lately; he was voted Oz Artist Of The Year by Channel [V] viewers in 2012.
