New South Wales Police have confirmed that there will be a large sniffer dog presence at the upcoming Future Music Festival, with DJ Timmy Trumpet delivering a message to punters alongside the authorities.

In a video released by the festivals, the DJ introduces a police Superintendent who give tips to punters for the event.

“Don't bring drugs to the venue,” the officer says, “don't use drugs before you come. If you do, there's a large number of police who'll be working on a drug dog operation. You don't want to have to face a court later on, so let's remember no drugs at the venue, no drugs at Futures whatsoever.”

He also adds, “If you want to behave like a goose inside you'll be tossed out, or face fines or both. We want people enjoying themselves, but do it in a way that respects everyone else… [don't] make a goose of yourself.”
