Craig May to replace Leigh Gruppetta as General Manager Of Music

Shock Records have today announced the appointment of Craig May as the new General Manager Of Music for the Australian independent – taking the role currently held by Leigh Gruppetta.

Currently with the Create/Control label, May was previously Dew Process' Head Of Marketing and has had stints with EMI, Sony and Stomp in the past. He will officially join Shock in March.

Gruppetta – who steps down after eight years with the company – and another Shock representative had not returned theMusic.com.au calls this morning.

It is believed that the company's Senior International Label Manager Stu Harvey is also exploring new opportunities.
