Tenacious D Sell Out Sydney & Melbourne, Add Second Shows

If there was ever any doubt of the lasting popularity of comedy music duo Tenacious D, you can cast it aside right now as they have just sold the hell out of their Sydney and Melbourne shows this morning, mere minutes after they went on sale.

To keep up with demand, Jack Black and Kyle Gass have happily commited to another couple of dates in those cities and tickets for those shows are on sale now.

These are the group's first shows in Australia sinced they were out here in support of the Foo Fighters back in 2011 and will see them supported by Australian organ master Barry Morgan and the US' ape-like guitar hero Sasquatch.

The dates are as follows:

Friday 10 May - Convention Centre, Brisbane Tickets
Saturday 11 May - Opera House, Sydney - SOLD OUT
Sunday 12 May - Opera House, Sydney Tickets
Tuesday 14 May - Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide Tickets
