Tame Impala and Atlas Genius to play Late Night while still impacting US charts.

More Tame Impala More Tame Impala

Tame Impala are set to make their second appearance on influential US talk show Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Monday night - to screen here 11pm, Tuesday on Comedy Channel.

The Perth band's Lonerism album is currently moving back up the US Tastemaker Albums chart - at 16 in its 17th week, having peaked at five previously (it has also spent 13 weeks in the album charts there, peaking at 34). Tame Impala were last on Fallon's show to perform Why Won't You Make Up Your Mind? in August 2011.

On the following night Adelaide's Atlas Genius will make their Fallon debut as their single Trojans notches up 39 weeks on the Alternative Songs chart in the US - it's in at six this week. That puts the track just behind hits by the The Lumineers and Passion Pit  to be the third longest stayer currently in that chart. Their performance will screen in Australia on Wednesday evening.
