Standish/Carlyon Drop New Track Before ATP Performance

The former Devastations give us Nono/Yoyo before this weekend's performance.

Oneof the acts selected by the crew at All Tomorrow's Parties for the day they have programmed for their I'll Be Your Mirror show in Melbourne this weekend is Standish/Carlyon, the kinda newish band made up of Conrad Standish and Tom Carlyon, both previously of much lauded Aussie mood rockers Devastations.

Their new direction is decidedly different to the work we heard from both gents in their previous outfit; the new music is kinda minimal, slightly electronic, groovy and spacey. Have a listen to this new track and you'll get an idea as to what we are talking about.

It's kinda rare to get a chance to see the band performing live, so, if you're around, catch the band playing at I'll Be Your Mirror Melbourne on Saturday, hitting Stage Two at 4pm. Standish/Carlyon will also play a headline show in Melbourne at the Gasometer on Friday 1 March.
