Legendary UK DJ Greg Wilson To Tour Australia

This is your chance to see one of the progenitors.

After nearly 30 years of prominence as a DJ, Greg Wilson has announced he will be setting the night on fire at a few select venues across Australia this March. Regarded as somewhat of a British national treasure, Wilson has been a true innovator of the dance scene since way back in 1975 when he was one of the first to combine soul music and beat-mixing into his sets.

In the mid 1980s, after believing success as a DJ had come to easily to him, Wilson decided to retire from the profession, a move which lasted two decades. After playing around with production, journalism and radio in the intervening years, 2003 saw Wilson feel the urge to play to crowds once again, and he subsequently set the globe ablaze with a string of performances worldwide.

Over his career he has been nominated by DJ Magazine for outstanding contribution, and has also been named amongst their top twenty 'Remixers of All Time.'
