Their album looks to crack the top ten

Iceland's favourite indie-folk band Of Monsters And Men are bulleting up the ARIA Albums Chart this week as they continue to engrain themselves in the minds of Australian listeners.

Their album My Head Is An Animal has spent 15 weeks in the chart and currently sits at its highest point of 12. It will crack the top ten next week according the midweek figures.

The band - who will play the Laneway Festival - have the single Little Talks to thank for their Mumford-esque chart rise, with the track enjoying its 18th week in the chart at 11. It has got as high as seven.

The top three albums will take a bit of dislodging this week though, with Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox fighting off Pink's The Truth About Love and the soundtrack to Les Miserables.

New albums from Black Veil Brides (Wretched And Divine: The Story Of The Wild Ones) and Dropkick Murphys (Signed And Sealed In Blood) will debut in the top 50.

A familiar battle between Macklemore & Ryan Lewis feat. Wanz's Thrift Shop and will.i.am feat. Britney Spears' Scream & Shout will dominate the top two spots on the ARIA Singles Chart next week, with the biggest threat coming from another Macklemore & Ryan Lewis track – Same Love feat. Mary Lambert. Last week the track jumped from 39 to nine.
