Aussie singer/DJ Havana Brown has today topped the Billboard Dance/Club Play charts this week, with her latest single Big Banana featuring Dutch producer R3hab.

The chart-topping result comes after six weeks in the American Dance/Club Play chart and is the evidence of a growing profile for Brown in the states.

Elsewhere Gotye and Kimbra retained the number one spot on the Adult Contemporary Songs chart with Somebody That I Used To Know, which was dubbed the ranking's 'Greatest Gainer'. Even though the track was announced as 2012's best selling track in America in December, it received extra publicity last week when it was re-reported at the same time Adele's 21 was announced as the top selling album last week.

Probably on the back of its strong end-of-year list showings, Tame Impala's Lonerism bulleted back up the Billboard 200 albums chart, with the Perth band up to 112 from 159 last week. In its eight weeks in the charts the album's been as high as 34.
