EXCLUSIVE: Post-Rock Giants This Will Destroy You’s First Aus Tour

Texan post-rock outfit This Will Destroy You have announced their first ever Australian dates this morning, with the band set to arrive March 2013.

Both ambient and destructive, the band's 2011 – and second – album Tunnel Blanket was released locally through Hobbledehoy. And though the record might be their most ambient and subdued, there's no argument that it's still incredibly forceful and emotive – both bleak and dense.

It is arguably their most successful record, and through it the instrumental act clocked up worldwide sales of over 100,000 for their albums. Any album that will get them to Australia is an achievement in our books anyway.
