It's an eclectic list to fight against wildlife extinction

Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Melbourne Zoo, the Melbourne Zoo Twilights series is back again in 2013, offering up a huge bill of acts from the end of January to March to fight the extinction of wildlife.

Kicking off with ARIA Award winner Missy Higgins, the program also features the likes of Clare Bowditch, Kate Miller-Heidke, The Bamboos with Tim Rogers, Lisa Mitchell and British-Aussie legend Leo Sayer, enlisting an eclectic list of acts to appeal to everybody.

With the tagline “Music Against Wildlife Extinction”, the event's proceeds will aid Zoos Victoria conservation efforts and aim to save threatened species of the local area, the program joining great Australian acts to fight the cause.

Here's the full list of proceedings on Friday and Saturday nights through January to March.

Saturday 16th February – Leo Sayer, Callee
Friday 22nd February – Stonefield, Owl Eyes
Saturday 23rd February – Hotel California – The Best of The Eagles, Atlantic Crossing – The Rod Stewart Show
Friday 1st March – The Bamboos with Tim Rogers, Electric Empire
Saturday 2nd March – The Pink Show
Friday 8th March – Husky, Die Roten Punkte
Saturday 9th March – Timomatic (with special guest), Bonnie Anderson

All shows will be performed at Melbourne Zoo and tickets on sale from December 12, with children under four getting in for free!
