Other services claimed to be not far off

ARIA are poised to launch their Streaming Tracks Charts this Sunday, with three providers offering data to the chart.

Spoitfy, JB Hi-Fi Now and Samsung Music have all signed on for the chart, with sources at ARIA confident that the remaining services will come on board in the coming months. The issues are largely related to technology, with the services needing to provide their data to ARIA in a way that can be implemented into a chart. Eager to launch before the end of the year, ARIA will kick off with the three this week.

Sources within other streaming services have confirmed that they are close to signing off for the chart.

Initially the chart will be for individual tracks and, as previously reported, it is ARIA's intention to implement the Streaming Tracks Chart into the primary Singles Chart next year. That will require a weighting for a stream compared to a sale.
