Tassie’s Asta Joins Select Music Roster

Tasmania's triple j Unearthed High winner Asta has signed to booking agency Select Music, the company announced today.

Now part of an agency roster that boasts Josh Pyke, Ball Park Music, Lior, Hungry Kids Of Hungary, DZ Deathrays, Gold Fields, Thelma Plum and more, Asta has already begun to make an impact with two singles My Heart Is On Fire and Escape – both of which made the top 100 ARIA Singles Chart, if not the top 50.

Select's Rob Giovannoni said today, “Asta is a true talent –a career artist. The future looks amazing both here and internationally. We look forward to being part of the team.”

Thursday 22 November – Palace Theatre, Melbourne (supporting Angus Stone)
Tuesday 27 November – Oxford Art Factory, Sydney
Monday 31 December – Pyramid Rock Festival, Phillip Island

Earlier this month Select launched a joint venture agency, the Essential Agency, with Falcona.
