The rapper beats out Gotye and The Jezabels with six nominations.

More 360 More 360

Melbourne's 360 has blitzed the ARIA nominations in 2012, picking up six chances to win a gong on the night, including a number of the big ones. The Aussie hip hop chart topper was already given a nod in this morning's Artisan awards, with Styalz Fuego picking up the Best Producer award for his work on 360's Falling & Flying album.

Unsurpisingly, Gotye and The Jezabels were not far behind 360, with five nominations apiece.

Earlier this week 360 racked up a year in the ARIA Albums Chart with Falling & Flying, and talking to theMusic.com.au at the nominations he described the 52 weeks as "crazy".

"My whole life's just flipped upside down... [the year] has gone really, really quickly. I was surprised when they said it had been a year in the top 50."

He said that the album's longevity could be put down to, "Having a really good team behind me, like at EMI stuff like that. Having a real big machine behind me has been a real good thing. And just making the honest music as well, the younger kids really connect with it a lot more."
