The Hives To Play East Coast Dates

They have no shame in proclaiming that they put on one of the greatest rock shows in the world, and after years of seeing The Hives performing at festivals and club shows across the country, we have no interest in arguing with them on that point. This Swedish punk rock tour de force have been smashing out furious, catchy gems for close to 20 years now, though it was around the turn of the century when they really gained some momentum and started to get the credit they deserved for their genius pop songwriting.

The band's latest record Lex Hives sees them back at their absolute best; 12 incredible tracks that sees them bottle up that energy and skilful pop nous and deliver it to us at a rate so furious it could only be coming from these five gentlemen.

The Hives had announced they would be in Australia for the Falls and Southbound festivals a couple of months ago and now we're pleased to announce that the band will also play three big shows along the east coast of the country while they are here, because they love us so much.
