Melbourne’s Jacob Butler Signs With V2 For Benelux

The licensing adds to his worldwide deals

Melbourne pop-rock singer songwriter Jacob Butler has signed a licensing deal with V2 Records in the Benelux region, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemborg.

As a result his album Reason will be released there early next year through V2.

Butler already has licensing deals with EMI in Greece and Cyprus, Very Us in Germany, Switzerland and Austria), Universal Music in Poland and Bulgaria), Billberg Entertainment in Scandinavia and the Gresham Co in South Africa.

Butler is heading to Europe this week for a tour which includes acoustic showcases and a promotional jaunt through Germany. Butler's single Come My Way peaked at 47 on the German mainstream radio charts.

It's been a busy year of signing deals for Butler, he's also entered into a content partnership with Billabong and Sony Mobile, landed a TV sync agreement in Australia with Warner Brother Theme Parks and signed a European Publishing deal with prominent German independent AMV Talpa.
